Putting Disclosures to the Test

Nathaniel J. Evans was invited to present his research at the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) September 15th workshop on “Putting Disclosures to the Test”. The workshop examined the testing and evaluation of disclosures that companies make to consumers about advertising claims, privacy practices, and other information. Evans’ research, titled “Disclosure Modality in Advergames: Effects and Implications for Policy”, discussed the use and effectives of disclosure design characteristics in informing parents about child-directed advergames.
