Roxanna Gandía has been working at the University of Georgia since September 2011. She began in her current role at Grady College in January 2016. Prior to Grady College, she served as a Residence Hall Director for University Housing. In this role, she supervised and advised undergraduate students, while also managing the day to day of three residence halls. Roxanna has a B.A. in Film & Media Arts from the University of Tampa and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction: College Student Affairs from the University of South Florida.
In current role, Roxanna manages Grady’s summer program, the Media & Leadership Academy, for high school students interested in mass communication. She serves as the director for the Georgia Scholastic Press Association for high and middle schools in the state of Georgia. She also oversees the college’s diversity initiatives and recruitment efforts.
