Kelvin serves as the Director of Experiential Programs. Within this role, he leads the day-to-day experiential programs strategy for the undergraduate and graduate experience within Grady College. He oversees and manages the college’s involvement within the areas of employer and external organization involvement, undergraduate and graduate student career engagement, faculty engagement within career services, equity and inclusion strategy and administrative excellence. In addition to his operational roles, he oversees the strategic planning, assessment, budget development, and leadership of Experiential Programs team.
Kelvin holds a professional background within the areas of corporate restaurant management, student affairs and academic affairs administration. Prior to joining Grady College, he served as an assistant director at the Florida State University Career Center. He holds bachelor degrees in sociology and political science and an Undergraduate Certificate in Leadership Studies from Austin Peay State University. He also has a master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Florida State University. He is currently a student within the Higher Education Ph.D. program as well.
Kelvin’s professional interests include career services, social justice education and student retention and success. He is currently involved and holds leadership positions in the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE) and the American College Personnel Association (ACPA).
