Social media refers to online resources that people utilize to collaboratively express opinions and insights and share content and experiences.
The Grady College Public Relations & Social Media Conference is intended to educate public relations professionals and educators on social media. Participants will have the chance to connect with other communicators and gain valuable networking opportunities.
Conference attendees will:
Gain basic knowledge of social media tools
Find out what research says about PR and social media
Discuss ways educators use social media in the classroom
Hear PR bloggers from all over the nation discuss how social media is changing their PR practice.
Participate in individually taught how-to sessions on the various forms of social media.

Blocks of rooms have been reserved for Connect: Public Relations & Social Media Conference attendees at the Holiday Inn. To qualify for the Conference rate, reservations must be made by October 8, 2007.
